Hoddlesden Conservative Club is joining forces with local MP, Jake Berry to organise a fundraising night to refurbish the club’s function room in memory of their late President, Colin Rosney who passed away earlier this year.
Club Chairman Martin Brandon commented,
“The Club has been the heart of the local community for generations with hundreds of local families holding family events in our function room.
“We really wanted to have a fitting tribute to Colin so we’re raising money to rename and refurbish the room as well as have a great evening of entertainment to remember Colin.”
Colin’s daughters, Christine and Linda are also involved with arranging the evening of entertainment with Linda currently in training for the New York Marathon to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
The “Tribute to Colin” evening is on Friday 9th October 2015 with special guests Queen-esque performing Queen’s greatest hits and entertainment from popular and up and coming comedian,Clayton Jones.
